ABOUT MICKLER & CO.

designed to be different

At Mickler & Co., "Designed to Be Different" reflects a broader approach to design—one shaped by architecture, residential design, interiors, and real estate expertise. While many designers focus primarily on furnishings and finishes, we consider the entire home and how every decision contributes to the overall experience of living there.

From space planning and architectural details to furnishings, styling, and functionality, we approach each project with the bigger picture in mind. The most successful homes are not only beautiful, but thoughtfully planned, highly functional, and tailored to the people who live in them.

This whole-home perspective allows us to create spaces that feel cohesive, intentional, and uniquely personal—homes that support everyday life while standing the test of time.

REBECCA MICKLER

Owner & Principal Designer

Rebecca earned her degree in Architecture from Texas A&M University and brings experience in residential design, interiors, and real estate to every project. Her unique perspective allows her to create homes that are both beautiful and highly functional, thoughtfully tailored to the way her clients live.

A Few Things You Should Know About Rebecca

  • Experience spanning commercial architecture, residential design, interiors, home staging, and real estate.

  • Gets far too excited about floor plans, space planning, and solving awkward room layouts.

  • Often talks through design challenges out loud. The best ideas usually arrive mid-conversation—with herself. Can be awkward for others.

  • Her inner voice can most closely be likened to Roy Kent from Ted Lasso.

  • Design pet peeve: choosing window locations for the outside of a building and ignoring where they happen on the inside

Project Support

Behind every finished project is a team of movers, installers, warehouse professionals, and project support staff who help bring the vision to life. They're experts at logistics, problem-solving, and somehow getting oversized furniture exactly where it's supposed to go.

A Few Things You Should Know About Our Team

  • They have moved more sofas than they care to count.

  • They make installation day look easier than it actually is.

  • They can fit furniture through spaces that seem physically impossible.

  • They are remarkably patient when something needs to move "just a little to the left."

  • They are the reason beautiful design ideas become finished spaces.

TOGETHER, OUR TEAM CREATES

A Masterpiece with every project
